I write about events that happen to me and around the world from a writer's point of view. Nothing in my life ever goes smoothly. My focus is on young adult and children's authors, but occasionally I will bring you an adult author. It is my pleasure to introduce new books and authors to my readers. Writing is my life! Goodbye April, Hello May!!!
I haven't been posting much at all and it was because I was caught up in poetry all month. I wrote over 30 poems this month and I have posted them all in My Poetry.
It has been a very exciting month where I wrote some different kinds of poems and I read so many outstanding poetry. My mind is filled with poetry and I am planning to continue to try to write a poem a day if I can.
For this month I have two outstanding authors who will be guests here, Christopher Mannino and Maureen Fisher Fleming. More about them soon.
Until the next time it's May. As the song goes from Camelot:
The Lusty Month of May
"Tra la! It's May!
The lusty month of May!
That lovely month when ev'ryone goes
Blissfully astray.
Tra la! It's here!
That shocking time of year
When tons of wicked little thoughts
Merrily appear!
It's May! It's May!
That gorgeous holiday
When ev'ry maiden prays that her lad
Will be a cad!
It's mad! It's gay!
A libelous display!
Those dreary vows that ev'ryone takes,
Ev'ryone breaks.
Ev'ryone makes divine mistakes
The lusty month of May!"
For me it's just the month when my allergies go wild, but I do love seeing the flowers go crazy and the trees blossom. Happy May 1st to all. Goodbye April and all your poeming splendor.
